Founded in 1995, AFWPI has established itself as the premier wedding and special event planning association in Sacramento, CA.
We conceived of AFWPI after we realized wedding professionals were in desperate need of rudimentary business services. As a result, we invited the leading wedding professionals in the area to help develop our code of ethics and practices.
More importantly, we were on the vanguard of wedding professional support websites, and we are proud to have created the first website of its kind.
By creating digital listings for new members and opportunities, we revolutionized the industry. However, we quickly realized that the demand for our services outstripped Sacramento.
We soon started receiving memberships from wedding professionals worldwide, which further cemented our vision. While our focus has expanded, our goal and mission remain the same.
We pride ourselves on maintaining cost-effective processes that can even cater to startups and other small businesses. When you marry your career to AFWPI, it’s always a storybook ending.
